Clint Robertson, a proud Zimbabwean, is the founder and owner of Umdingi Safaris. With a childhood spent immersed in the wilderness, exploring and camping, Clint’s lifelong passion for Zimbabwe’s remarkable beauty led him to fulfill his dream of sharing it with the world. Unforgettable African vacation packages are our specialty. We offer Wilderness Camping adventures throughout Zimbabwe, creating an immersive experience unlike any other.
After dedicating much of his professional life to the safari industry, Clint felt a calling to venture out on his own. While cherishing the team atmosphere and invaluable mentorship he had experienced, he yearned for the autonomy of being his own boss. His vision was to establish a business that prioritized wildlife conservation and making a positive impact on local communities in Zimbabwe.

During this transformative journey, Clint crossed paths with Kelly, a compassionate young woman actively involved in wildlife rehabilitation work. Their shared passion for conservation and love for each other brought them together. Today, Kelly is not only Clint’s teammate but also his beloved wife. More recently, their Umdingi Team welcomed a new member, Sophia Mae Robertson, symbolizing the growth and joy that their business has brought to their lives.
Together, Clint, Kelly, and their dedicated team have built a business they wholeheartedly adore. Umdingi Safaris has become a testament to their love for Zimbabwe and other southern African countries, including destinations for Gorilla trekking and wildlife conservation, as well as their unwavering commitment to creating unforgettable safari experiences. The journey continues, and the story of Umdingi Safaris is one filled with passion, purpose, and a deep respect for the natural world.
